Hey there. Tim here.

This week, we're drinking 4 Sigmatic Coffee. It's called "Think." I highly recommend it.

1. What's The Next Move For Me?

I'm in a position where I have a lot of options in front of me, but I'm not sure what decision to make. I'm going to write it out in hopes that it helps organize my thoughts. I doing so, I hope you will hit reply and let me know what you think as well.

Building a Sales Team

I've written about this in the past, but the longer I delay, the more urgent it feels.

It's time for me to build a sales team. I've been doing the sales for Stodzy for 10 years. If I want to hit the goals I have set for myself, I can't keep doing this on my own.

Here's the problem: I'm afraid. I have no idea how to build a sales team. Where do I even start?

Building a Studio

I love my home office. It's such a blessing to be able to be home with the family, but it certainly has limitations.

For instance, this week the A/C unit in our house broke. I had to postpose a masterclass that was scheduled for The Copyblogger Academy because of how noisy and distracting it would have been to record in my home with the commotion.

Plus, I would love to have a higher quality production studio for the podcast, videos, etc.

Is this a waste of time? Should I stay focused on writing and do more of what I know will work? Or should I expand to new forms of media such as video and audio?

Starting a Fund

I'm sure I could raise a few million bucks. However, I'm not sure I want to. Using my own cash is much more inclusive to my lifestyle. Plus, maybe I'm getting to a point where it's time for me to put my money to work more than I put my mind and body to work.

I say that, but what would I do with myself? I love working. I don't want to be a hands off investor. I like forming partnerships with talented people.

Is there such a thing as a "partnership based investment firm?"

It's something I think about.

Continue On The Course

The other less exciting (and probably the best) option is to keep moving forward with what I am doing. Stay focused on what's in front of me and refrain from adding more projects into my life.

Why do I always feel the need to add more? Maybe I need to stick to the better > more > new framework that I have recommended to others.

Maybe I should take my own advice and stay focused on making things better, before I add more or buy new.

Damn ... I think I have my answer.

P.S. - This is a perfect example of why writing is so important. I wrote this entire entry on the fly in real time. I answered my own question in life by allowing my brain to work out the solution through writing.

Become a great writer. It will be the greatest skill you possess.

2. The Most Valuable Skill

I loved this video. It could not be more accurate.

Now that I am a parent, I think about these things more than ever. Ultimately, I've come to the conclusion that the only thing I am "forcing" my kids to learn is how to communicate.

ChatGPT can't communicate for you.

It's the main reason why I've been successful.

3. Join The Copyblogger Academy

Did you know that most people who start a business fail? Most never even make it past the first month and rarely do upstart entrepreneurs hit profitability.

Why?

Here’s the problem you face …

As a society, we’re obsessed with metrics like “attention, likes, and shares.” Those metrics feel good and give a good dopamine rush, but social media shares don’t put money in your bank account.

Which means you’ll spend all your time working, hustling and “being busy,” without ever making new sales or generating profits.

Luckily for you, I have a solution I think you’ll like … let me introduce you to COPYBLOGGER ACADEMY!

Copyblogger Academy is an educational platform and vibrant networking community that teaches you how to become an expert content marketer so you can build a profitable business you love.

4. How To Create Multiple Streams Of Income

If you want to be rich, you need multiple streams of income.

It’s almost impossible to get wealthy by your salary alone. The good news is, with the right mindset and skills, you can use your salary to create investments that will generate wealth for you.

It’s not too good to be true. It’s simple economics. Once you see it, you will see it everywhere.

In this article, I will teach you how to create multiple streams of income.

5. Twitter Founders on Musk Takeover

Elon is displaying poise and confidence as he stays at the helm of Twitter, but there are some real problems at Twitter and it could all be smoke and mirrors.

Revenue is down (by a lot), advertisers are staying away, blue checks have been a disaster, Twitter isn't paying it's bills, and it's debt holders are getting upset.

I discovered this great interview with the founders of Twitter. It's worth watching.

Grab your popcorn.

That's it for this week.

Thanks to everyone who has followed me and supported me on this journey. We're just getting started.

Love you guys. Talk to you next week.
